Coach’s Cookout

Jim Sposato provides the co-op with all-natural, award-winning barbecue sauce. He coached and taught in Tulsa, OK and Lincoln, Arkansas for 46 years and began having his sauce produced in Rogers in 1995 when the project started becoming too large to sell only at school. In this class Coach will teach us everything we need to know about the perfect cookout!

Ozark Native Plant Sale

Milkweed! Pawpaws! Coneflowers! Wild Ginger! Ozark Native Plants will be selling plants native to the Ozarks for your garden. We have medicinals, edibles, wildflowers, and plants for butterflies and bees. Our plants are grown locally using organic methods at our small family nursery.

Around the World – Flavors of the Philippines

Join us in a culinary adventure around the globe! This month we are venturing to the Philippines! In this tasty class we will make the beloved Tapsilog (breakfast dish), Pinakbet (veggie dish), and Bihon Filipino Pancit (noodle dish). We will also have some Bibingka (coconut cake) to round it all out! We’ll wash it all down with Melon Sa Malamig.

Tour de Farms- Meet the Farmer Dinner at Tri-Cycle Farms

Five local farmers will be on hand to have a discussion about local farming and food in our area. Chef Jared Hickman is donating his time to create a wonderful meal made with locally-sourced ingredients. Our Outreach Coordinator, Heather Artripe, is providing dessert and A la Carte will be providing appetizers. The cost for the dinner is $50, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Tri Cycle Farms. Fossil Cove Brewing Company will also be on hand selling their tasty…

Preserving 101
