October is National Cookbook Month! Heather thought it would only be right to cook from her favorite cookbook, Smoke & Pickles from Edward Lee. Smoke & Pickles is a cookbook full of recipes and stories from a new southern kitchen. In this class Heather will be making a few of her favorites from this book including Kabocha Squash Mac & Cheese with Pork Rind Crust, Black Pepper Parsnip Biscuits, Curry Pork Pies, and Pimento Cheese. You can’t enjoy all of this without something delicious to drink, so we will have some Kentucky Mule Mocktails on hand made with Ginger Simple Syrup.
