p6 shindig 10.15

Come one, come all, it’s time for Owner Appreciation Weekend! Taking place this weekend, this OAW is by far the hottest of the three Owner Weekends we host every year. And not only is it an ideal time to stock up on cases of your favorite items, bulk foods, and some of those expensive vitamins and supplements that you can save extra money on, it’s also a cause for celebration. In April of 2015, we held what was to become a new tradition for us: we threw our first P6 Shindig! (If you still don’t know the skinny on P6, check out our webpage here to find out more.) Our P6 Shindigs allow you—our owners and guest shoppers—to meet with and talk to the local producers and farmers that supply your delicious food.

This weekend we’ll have Core Brewery on hand, providing information about their brewery and the many beers they offer both seasonally and all year long. Naked Hippy Brews will be here sampling their now famous “Jun” drinks, which are similar to kombucha and contain many of the same health benefits. Pedal Pops will be here providing ice cold popsicles to beat the summer heat. M & M Farms will be here sampling their grass-fed meats, and Bernice’s Hummus will offer up a taste of both her Heavenly and Hellacious hummus. My Brother’s Salsa will be here with their handcrafted salsas and tortilla chips, while Roots in Bloom Farm will be here sampling their various wellness products. JJ”s Barbecue will also be here sampling his delicious barbecue sauce alongside some tasty smoked meat. Finally, local band The Squarshers will be here providing live music to soothe your soul. Plenty of samples will be on hand, as well as coupons for $1.00 off your favorite local products from all of these wonderful local vendors!

The P6 Shindig takes place on Saturday, July 9th from 12 – 3pm.

Happy Summer!
