A French dessert!

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup Organic Valley buttermilk

2/3 cup Wholesome Granulated Sugar

3 Happy Egg Co. eggs

2 tsp. Frontier Co-op vanilla extract

1/2 cup War Eagle Mill Organic Unbleached All Purpose Flour

Pinch of salt

2 cups fresh organic blueberries, washed

1 zest from organic lemon

Wholesome Powdered sugar, for dusting

Preparation

Step 1

In a food processor or blender, add milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, and salt. Turn on and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Step 2

Allow mixture to stand for 1 hour.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 350.

Step 4

Coat an 8-10” cast iron or pie plate with butter.

Step 5

Add blueberries to the pan.

Step 6

Pour batter into the pan.

Step 7

Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Step 8

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Step 9

Add lemon zest and a dusting of powdered sugar over the top.
