Pumpkin Donuts

This donut has a crave-worth texture and a light pumpkin flavor.

Ingredients

1 3/4 Cup + 2 Tbsp. (224g) King Arthur All-Purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp. Rumford baking powder

1 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

2 tsp. bulk pumpkin pie spice

3/4 Cup Wholesome brown sugar

1 Cup Wholesome granulated sugar

1/2 Cup Specturm Culinary Safflower Oil

3 Farmers Hen House large eggs

1 can Farmers Market Organic pumpkin puree

1 tsp. Frontier Co-op vanilla

Pumpkin Pie Spice Sugar Coating

3 Tbsp. Organic Valley unsalted butter, melted

1/2 Cup Wholesome granulated sugar

2 tsp. bulk pumpkin pie spice

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2

Grease doughnut wells.

Step 3

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice together.

Step 4

Add sugars and mix until well blended.

Step 5

In a small separate bowl, whisk together the oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla.

Step 6

Add into dry mixture and combine thoroughly.

Step 7

Fill doughnut wells ¾ of the way full.

Step 8

Bake 16 minutes and cool.

Step 9

To make the coating; in a bowl, combine your granulated sugar and pumpkin pie spice until thoroughly mixed.

Step 10

Once donuts are cool, dip the top in the melted butter then dip into the pumpkin pie spice sugar.
