Kale Pesto

Make your own pesto with this simple and delicious recipe!


½ C bulk walnuts

2 organic garlic cloves

½ C Organic Valley grated parmesan

2 Tbsp. fresh organic lemon juice

½ C bulk olive oil

1 bunch organic Kale, rinsed, dried, stems removed and torn into bite size pieces

Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1

In your food processor add your walnuts and garlic cloves, pulse to break down.

Step 2

Next, add in your parmesan cheese, pulse a few times to incorporate.

Step 3

Add in your lemon juice.

Step 4

Next, add in 1 big handful of kale, followed by 1/3 of your olive oil. Place the lid on and turn on the food processor to start breaking down the kale. Stopping and scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 5

Continue by adding another handful of kale in, followed by another 1/3 of your olive oil and repeat process 1 more time until you have all of your kale and your olive oil in the food processor.

Step 6

Season with freshly cracked pepper and salt. Process until desired consistency. Taste and see if it tastes like you like. You might need to add in additional parmesan, lemon juice, salt, or pepper.
